Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Should have played instrumental roles in architecting and delivering medium to large scale end to end on-premise and cloud solutions.

Should have architected solutions based on popular public cloud services (AWS)

Work directly with stakeholders to comprehend solution problems and identify opportunities

Experience in working with the client architecture councils.

Work together with a team of application developers, engineers, and designers to deliver innovative technology solutions

Responsible for collecting and defining technical requirements to enable business processes and integrations

Ability to clearly communicate requirements, create software designs, trouble shoot, and provide technical guidance

Architect complex application workflows across multiple services, messaging platforms, and data stores

Measure and find and fix performance and security issues

Hands on knowledge of DB platforms including SQL, Document DB including Dynamo DB

Demonstrate and evangelize best practices for coding and team processes;

Lead the team of engineers and IT specialists to design effective, efficient, scalable, and secure applications within the organization’s Cloud software platform

Defining staffing requirements and recommending appropriate skill levels, technology, and expertise for resources part of a proposal

Ensure that solutions created by the development team stick to technical architecture standards

Responsible for writing and reviewing codes and also contributing to all technical discussions and architecture planning

Ability to analyze the technical aspects, risks, challenges, cost, quality, resources, scope, and value proposition of the proposed solutions

Ability to address security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability attributes of solutions being proposed

Stay up-to-date on emerging technology trends and promote an environment of learning

Qualifications:

10 to 15 years of experience in software development and architecting solutions

Significant experience in web service development and Service-Oriented Architecture

2 or more years of hands-on experience in designing and architecting solutions on AWS Cloud

Familiarity with mobile technologies Android and IOS

Familiarity with RPA, Data Science and Legacy Application Modernization

DevOps automation experience is preferred but not mandatory

Solid understanding of security issues related to multi-tier enterprise applications

Solid understanding of Design Patterns

Required:

ASP.NET MVC Framework

Microsoft SQL Server

.NET Core / Microservices

Development in AWS and exposure to the underlying services

Solid understanding of SOAP, REST, and Web API based web service protocols

Excellent written and oral communications skills

Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Library

Experience with Microsoft Entity Framework and/or LINQ to SQL

Experience with Event Base Architecture

Resource should be a U.S. based candidate located in either Houston or Chicago due to client on-site work sessions. Resource should be open to relocate to client location.
