Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities

Sell Spend Management:

Performs complex financial analyses including budgeting, trend analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling; develops and implements capitalization methods, and reviews journal entries to meet business needs.
Lead & participate in forecast activities & actual spend reporting for specific region. This also involves performing variance analysis, reconciliation, SOX reporting
Finalization of function’s budget & working with different stakeholder to ensure the actual spend is kept within the budgets
Perform month-end close activities with strict timelines & compliance adherence. This involves working with different stakeholders like Sales Operations Team, Regional FP&A teams & Global leadership teams.
Reporting & Analytics around spend management, utilization for various management reviews. This also involves tracking & reporting direct & indirect spend, Bids & pursuit costs
Drive Automation and SOX controls for commission process and closure of all entries and true ups within prescribed timelines.
Ensure that financial data & systems are updated/aligned to the business requirement. Drive the team for early adoption of automation and actively engage in process improvements

Revenue Analytics & Backlog Reporting:

Analysis of Sales metrics, TCV to revenue conversion. Pipeline to TCV, ABR to Revenue tracking segregating at deal size, Offering level, geography & client class levels
Tracking and reporting of Backlog and Sell and Bill revenues at various levels like the region, offering, etc.
Drive Leakage analysis to provide actionable data on taking preventive actions using sales models and Forecast/Actual data
Participate & Lead revenue and sales metrics budgeting with cross-functional teams. Tracking, reporting & analyzing backlog, and Sell & Bill revenue movement
Participate in backlog reporting activities for external reporting purposes
Collaborate with account POC's to provide explanation for operational backlog changes and ASC 606 hair cut % variance.
Conduct various analysis & deep dive of revenue and sales data to provide actional insights to various stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field preferred
CA or MBA is preferred. Candidates with CA Inter, ICWA having relevant experience may also apply
3-5 years of finance or accounting experience
