Job Description:

DXC Technology has an open IT Service Design & Management role with IT management & ITIL Run experience required.

The ideal candidate will need to be eligible for certain clearances.

Project Overview:

Consult and design ‘Service Management’ organisations and activities across multiple accounts.
Implement and consult/operate the organization during transformation stages between Current Mode of Operation (CMO) and Future Mode of Operation (FMO) via Transformation Mode of Operation (TMO)
Consult on Operations and initiate Improvement Programmes, defining the objectives, activities and critical success factors.

Exposure to:

ITIL Framework Processes
Apps Dev and Management
ERP Operational Processes
BI Dashboards and Reporting

Position Overview:

Responsible for delivering operational insights and increased value from organizational structure and delivery methodologies utilizing KPIs and SLAs / OLAs to drive and measure improvements
Scope can range from ad-hoc investigation and analysis of existing client operations to strategic implementations and high impacting transformation programmes.

Job Functions:

Responsible for consulting, designing and operating organisations during TMO phases.
Responsible for optimizing operations in steady state
Lead and participate in requirements gathering, specification, design and development of services within projects
Interact with business and technical teams of engineers from multiple disciplines Identifying and defining the scope and activities

Essential skills and Experience:

Service Management leadership experience
Practiced in all stages of ITIL framework
Good leadership skills and the ability to build relationships and trust
Experienced in board-level presentations and documentation.
Experienced in proposal writing and commercial sensitivity
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent communicator – ability to provide logical explanations to thought processes and demonstrate pragmatism

Ability to converse on:

Customer Experience, eCommerce, Customer Relationship Management
Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure
Applications Development, including Agile and MVP
Applications Modernisation and Transformation
Experience working with technology industry
Experience working with company products and operating systems
Experience working with proposals

Desirable Skills:

Practiced on ITSM toolsets and processes
SLA and OLA implementation and management
Well versed in Agile methodology
Ability to translate business requirements into plausible solutions for articulation to other team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, information systems or related field preferred
Nine or more years of support services, project, or program experience
Five or more years of leadership or supervisory experience

Location of work:

UK-based. Remote worker unless client requires onsite attendance
Due to the nature of the client base this, onsite attendance could be non-local and overnight or for prolonged periods of time, subject to project requirements.

Mandatory Requirements:

UK National / Resident due to the nature of our client base and the need for relevant security clearances.
