As a member of the Defence security team you will be key part of ensuring the security and compliance of sites, services and solutions being delivered into Defence. The Account Security Officer works at the account level, alongside senior security leadership and delivery partners to monitor, enforce, respond and investigate security incident, policy and procedures.

Purpose:
• Contribute to the delivery of Security services at an account level and on physical sites
• Be responsible for driving the successful achievement of security-related outcomes, engaging other functions in the wider DXC as required.
• Forster the security focused culture on the sites you are responsible for

Responsibilities:
• Be to support major incidents 24 / 7
• Ensure the account compliance to Defence Policy such as JSP 440, ListX and other site physical security requirements
• Provide local support to security investigations
• Ensure that required security assurance activities are being conducted
• Oversee to ensure the correct protected documents handling is being conducted as well as conduct musters and change secure storage combinations
• Contribute to the contracted security-related outcomes are achieved, working in concert with other account and delivery functions

• Manage account level security processes and drive compliance, review and improvement
• Raise and manage risk treatment locally on responsible physical sites

• Provide security input to the account operating plan with AGM/CSE and relevant sales function
• Actively represent Security with account security management team
• Represent security in account related matters
• Manage security incidents, including engaging wider DXC and Defence processes and organizations as required.
• Maintain incident management playbooks with account security team
• Maintain and/or provide governance over Security Operating Procedures

• Provide and update required regular and ad hoc reporting

• Liaise with the local SSC to ensure that asset management activities are completed within specified timeframes, all ICT movement is controlled[MK1] , and any disposal or re-use is in accordance with current policies and contractual requirements.
