Role Summary
As a Boomi Senior Consultant, you will leverage in‑depth Boomi expertise and strong consulting skills to design, implement, and optimize enterprise‑grade integrations. You will independently lead client engagements of increasing complexity, spanning multiple Boomi platform components, while serving as a trusted advisor who can translate business needs into scalable, customer‑centric solutions.
This role requires advanced technical capability, strong communication and storytelling skills, and the ability to guide customers through their integration and modernization journeys.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Boomi Professional Developer Certification (Boomi Professional Developer) required.

7+ years of integration experience with at least 4+ years hands-on with Boomi Integration and API Management.
Strong expertise in:

Boomi Integration, API Management, and Atomsphere components
-
REST/SOAP web services
-
Data transformation (XML, JSON, XSLT)
-
Scripting skills (JavaScript or Groovy)
-
Relational and NoSQL databases
-
Proven experience gathering requirements, designing integration solutions, and leading end-to-end implementation.

Strong communication skills with the ability to lead meetings and present technical concepts to business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with Boomi Flow, B2B/EDI, or Master Data Hub (MDH).

Additional Boomi certifications: API Management, DataHub, Runtime Architect
-
Experience with enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Workday.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps practices.
-
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized deployment models.
-
Experience with other integration tools (TIBCO, BizTalk, MuleSoft) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Consulting & Client Engagement
-
Independently gather requirements and provide solutions on engagements with increasing complexity, often involving multiple areas of the Boomi Platform.

Facilitate and present in both internal and customer-facing meetings, including presenting complex solutions in business terms for executive stakeholders.

Listen actively, ask open‑ended questions, and use storytelling techniques to convey memorable messages and capture customer value statements for conversion into customer stories.

Validate business and technical requirements, support prototyping, participate in scoping activities, and contribute to architectural recommendations.

Integration Design & Technical Delivery
-
Design and create complex integration processes and flows independently across diverse systems and data types.
-
Architect end‑to‑end integration patterns, including system orchestrations, data transformations, and API‑centric solutions.

Be conversant in at least two elements of the Boomi Platform (Integration, API Management, Flow, B2B/EDI, MDH) and explain how they work together to satisfy customer business needs.

Serve as the point of contact for customer technical questions and issue resolution.
Quality Assurance & Standards

Lead testing processes across integration engagements, ensuring quality, reliability, and performance.

Define and author standards, best practices, and deliverables as part of a continuous quality improvement program.

Ensure delivered solutions meet governance, compliance, and security requirements.
Strategic Contributions & Platform Expansion

Identify opportunities to expand customer utilization of the broader Boomi platform—including subscriptions, services, and new integration use cases—within the customer and the customer's network.

Recommend new service offerings, delivery approaches, and strategic initiatives that advance DXC’s integration practice and customer success.

Maintain advanced understanding of core technologies and proactively identify additional technologies to master.
