About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Integration Architect to lead the strategy, governance, and architecture direction of a global Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) service supporting a multinational FMCG organization.

This executive-level architecture leadership role is responsible for defining enterprise integration strategies, governing architecture standards, guiding innovation initiatives, and driving service excellence across a complex multi-technology integration ecosystem. The successful candidate will provide architectural leadership across APIs, messaging, event streaming, cloud integration, SAP integrations, iPaaS platforms, and emerging AI-enabled technologies.

You will play a critical role in shaping the future of enterprise integration for global organizations, leading strategic architecture initiatives, influencing technology roadmaps, championing innovation, and working with industry-leading platforms while collaborating with teams across regions and cultures.

Essential Job Functions

·       Define and evolve enterprise integration strategies, architecture principles, standards, and target-state roadmaps.

·       Provide architectural leadership across API, messaging, streaming, SAP integration, MFT/B2B, cloud-native, and iPaaS domains.

·       Establish and govern architecture review frameworks, approval processes, compliance controls, and decision-making standards.

·       Lead architecture assessments, solution reviews, and technical consulting engagements for complex integration requirements.

·       Drive innovation initiatives including AI-assisted engineering, governance automation, and modernization programs.

·       Sponsor and govern Proofs of Concept (PoCs), ensuring successful outcomes are converted into reusable assets and best practices.

·       Partner with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, platform owners, and delivery leaders to align integration capabilities with business priorities.

·       Lead and mentor globally distributed teams of architects, consultants, and technical specialists.

·       Define KPIs, service metrics, governance dashboards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

·       Ensure governance effectiveness, risk management, quality oversight, and executive reporting.

Basic Qualifications

·       15+ years of experience in Enterprise Integration Architecture with leadership responsibilities across multiple integration technologies.

·       10+ years of experience leading Integration Architecture teams, Governance functions, or Centers of Excellence.

·       Deep expertise in enterprise integration strategy covering API Management, Messaging, Event Streaming, iPaaS, MFT/B2B, SAP Integration, and Cloud Integration.

·       Strong knowledge of API-led, event-driven, cloud-native, messaging, and hybrid integration architectures.

·       Experience establishing architecture governance frameworks, standards, reusable patterns, and technology roadmaps.

·       Proven executive stakeholder management, consulting, facilitation, and decision-making capabilities.

·       Experience leading global and multi-region service delivery organizations.

·       Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, security architecture, observability, resilience, and service management practices.

·       Demonstrated success driving innovation, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.

·       Strong portfolio, financial, capacity, and risk management skills.

·       Experience with SAP Integration technologies: SAP PO, SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Connector

·       Experience with API Management platforms: Apigee, Azure API Management, SAP API Management

·       Experience with Messaging & Event Streaming: Solace PubSub+, Confluent Kafka, Azure Event Hubs

·       Experience with iPaaS platforms: Boomi

·       Experience with B2B & Managed File Transfer: Axway MFT, Axway B2Bi

·       Experience with Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Apollo GraphQL

·       TOGAF Certification

·       Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Architect Certification

·       SAP Integration Architect or SAP Integration Suite Certification

·       Boomi, Apigee, Confluent Kafka, or related strategic platform certifications

·       ITIL Managing Professional

SAFe Agilist or equivalent Agile certification
