Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with  On Prem (UK) Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts, and other team members to understand client requirements and translate them into test scenarios and clear acceptance criteria.
• Develop, and execute test scripts using industry knowledge, product documentation, and business processes to build comprehensive test packs.
• Perform both manual and automated testing, depending on project needs and available tools.
• Identify, log, track, and help resolve defects, ensuring issues are clearly documented and communicated.
• Conduct functional, integration, system, and regression testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for DXC Assure products.
• Provide input into testing effort estimates and timelines.
• Work collaboratively with developers, analysts, project managers, and client teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and frameworks.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of the Insurance domain — Apreciated experience with Lloyd’s and Company market operations is highly desirable (Broker, Carrier, Syndicate, MGA).
• Hands-on experience with insurance applications.
• Proven experience in software testing, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Practical SQL skills, including writing queries, views, triggers, or stored procedures.
• High attention to detail with excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; adaptable and able to work effectively in a distributed team.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with the configuration of Assure software products is an advantage.
• Experience with the Virtuoso QA automation tool is highly valued; however, strong experience with other QA automation tools is equally welcome.
• Understanding of business process mapping, data flow diagrams, or entity-relationship models.
• Ability to work flexible hours to collaborate effectively with colleagues in different time zones  (UK)
