Here at DXC Technology we continue to grow our SAP Practice. We’re looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer who takes pride in building clean, reliable, and high-quality technical solutions.
This role isn’t just about writing code — it’s about solving real business problems for clients operating in critical industries such as Aerospace & Defence, Civil Nuclear, Utilities, and Manufacturing. You’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering enhancements, resolving complex issues, and shaping solutions that genuinely make a difference.
Because of the nature of our clients’ work, we can only consider sole British Nationals who are eligible for security clearance.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work closely with functional analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to design and deliver SAP technical solutions that are robust, scalable, and aligned to best practice.
Your responsibilities will include:

Designing and developing RICEF objects (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms)

Translating business requirements into clear technical designs

Developing high-quality ABAP and OO ABAP solutions

Supporting integrations and monitoring SAP Process Orchestration (where applicable)

Troubleshooting and resolving incidents across live environments
-
Reviewing code and providing technical oversight within the team

Supporting deployments and small-to-medium project deliveries

Mentoring junior developers and sharing best practice

You’ll have real ownership — seeing solutions through from concept to go-live and beyond.

Essential Experience

Extensive experience in SAP development roles

Strong ABAP and OO ABAP skills

Experience with BAPIs, RFCs, ALV reporting

Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework)

SAP Forms (SAPscript, SmartForms, Adobe Forms)

Full SAP project lifecycle experience

Confident troubleshooting and debugging integration/application issues
Desirable (but not essential)

SAP Fiori / UI5 exposure

SAP Process Orchestration (PO/PI)

Basic web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
