This Quality Engineer role is an exciting opportunity to join the Our Issuing business. This includes ensuring quality control, testing of transition, migration of issuing platform.

We are looking for experienced Quality Engineer who has similar experience with relevant domain understanding, technical expertise and business acumen.

This is a critical transition journey of transaction/terminal switch that demands deep understanding of payment systems, switch, cards and integration with various systems.

This role is for someone who enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop high standard solutions for seamless transition and migration of systems and further enhancements

Key Responsibilities

• Develop functional test documents for the applications including Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases/Scripts.
• Drive quality assurance ensuring that the test strategy also considers the test data, environments, and non-functional testing relevant for Products/Services.
• Implement all test activities including Functional tests, Platform upgrades, API test, UI Tests (Browser and Mobile), Performance test, Accessibility Test etc.) adhering to the Global Test Strategy.
• To adopt to automated testing tools and execution.
• Coordinate the integration testing, certifications, ensure quality excellence of the end delivery.
• Represent the test team at Scrum meetings, key project meetings and provide a single point of accountability and escalation for testing within the POD
• Assist in performing test estimation, test strategy, preparing test plans and provide regular updates to agile leads in managing day-to-day testing activities, such as test monitoring and status reporting at the end of the testing day.
• Produce documentation and test reports
• Operate in an agile environment, creating and maintaining user stories.

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Developing, creating, prioritizing and organizing test cases into logical suites for execution for Web/mobile applications
• Familiarity with defect tracking systems and test management tools
• Experience in Quality assurance, of issuing business of payments and cards.
• Specific experience in Switch testing (BASE24, BAE24  EPS and ACI UPF) is desirable
• Should have domain understanding of payments, specific issuing.
• Should have knowledge and experience on Transaction switch, latest payment systems, e-com.
• Should have experience in QA on issuing products, certifications of interchanges like VISA, MasterCard, Amex and JCB.
• Should have experience on conducting QA testing through simulators as well as mock environment.
• Should have understanding/ experience on automated testing tools.
• Should have experience in using the relevant management tools like JIRA to manage and report the QA data.
• It’s preferable to have knowledge and experience of working on cloud systems.
• It’s preferable to have understanding and experience on Agile delivery
• An open mindset and proven ability to innovate and influence.

Education:

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant technical subject or equivalent experience
• Post graduation/ Graduation in Engineering/science
• Relevant self-learning courses and certifications on testing methodology
