About the role
The HR Advisor for the UK provides customer focused advice to managers in line with policies, procedures and legal requirements and manages casework relating to grievance, performance, disciplinary and absence management.
Daily challenges
- Providing customer focused, comprehensive and pragmatic people management advice and support to managers, employees and business partners in line with organizational policies, procedures and legal requirements
- Managing casework, ensuring the organization complies with employment law and makes appropriate recommendations where there is found to be any conflict or doubt
- Delivering an efficient, customer responsive case management service, supporting managers and employees in carrying out casework relating to disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability
- Contributing to other HR related projects that arise throughout the year. Providing effective HR project management and risk management projects and ensuring appropriate legal and due diligence advice is provided and acted upon
- Working closely with HR Shared services to ensure professional working relationships are established and work with the teams to focus on continuous improvement and providing a high- quality service to employees and managers
eXperience and skills required
- Previous HR experience of supporting UK
- Ability to work independently
- Fluent in written and spoken English
