We need candidate who have good and hands on experience on Java, Spring, Eclipse IDE, IntelliJ, Rest Assured, JBehave frameworks, Databases (SQL/Postgres), APIs (REST/SOAP) Automation, Bitbucket, Postman, SOAPUI, BDD/TDD Framework, Rally. Client is specifically looking for candidate who has ownership exposure , able to handle risk items and can drive solutions-based approach.
Mandatory/Must have skills:
Java
choice of IDE (MC mostly uses IntelliJ. VS Code and Eclipse are other options)
Databases (SQL/Oracle)
API testing and automation, Rest, Postman/SoapUI
Knowledge of BDD/TDD frameworks
Version control systems (Git, bitbucket)
Good to have: Spring, SpringBoot, JBehave, Experience working with apps deployed in cloud envs
Optional
Experience working with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) environments (Experience in Azure, AWS or other cloud envs would do)
Splunk, Dynatrace, Checkmarx (Emphasis here is on the ability to review logging and monitoring of apps in higher envs, go through logs to identify issues, etc)
Groovy scripting, RedisInsight
Ability to:
Write test cases and test strategy documents
Create robust acceptance and integration test automation scripts
Integrate with continuous integration tools like Jenkins
Track regression testing progress and defects using Rally/Jira
Work in an agile environment and be familiar with scrum ceremonies
Experience in regression
