Senior Manager, Program Manager – Insurance
DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Program Manager – Insurance to lead the successful delivery of large-scale application development, transformation, and managed services programmes for insurance clients. This role will be responsible for end-to-end programme delivery, stakeholder management, team leadership, and ensuring high-quality outcomes aligned with client and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end programme and service delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.

Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, managing relationships, expectations, risks, issues, and escalations.

Partner with account teams, architects, technical leads, and delivery teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that address client business needs.

Drive programme governance, project planning, resource management, financial tracking, and delivery performance reporting.

Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to review solution designs and ensure alignment with business requirements, architecture standards, and delivery objectives.

Oversee application development, implementation, testing, integration, deployment, and transition activities across multiple projects and workstreams.

Ensure adherence to software development lifecycle (SDLC), project management methodologies, quality standards, and governance processes.

Provide leadership and direction to project managers, technical leads, business analysts, and delivery teams.

Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, innovation, and operational efficiencies across programmes.

Manage programme risks, dependencies, and resource planning to support successful delivery outcomes.

Participate in business workshops, client meetings, steering committees, and governance forums.

Support business growth by contributing to solutioning, proposal development, effort estimation, and delivery planning activities.

Build, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative and customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Proven experience in programme management, project delivery, or service delivery leadership within the Insurance industry, IT Services, or System Integrator environment.

Strong experience managing large-scale application development, transformation, modernization, or managed services programmes.

Demonstrated success in managing client stakeholders, executive communications, and delivery governance.

Experience leading geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile and waterfall delivery methodologies, and application delivery frameworks.

Experience managing programme financials, budgets, resource planning, and delivery metrics.

Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working with Insurance platforms, core insurance systems, policy administration, claims, underwriting, or digital transformation initiatives is highly preferred.
