What you will be doing

The Change & Impact Lead is responsible for leading the people side of change across Workers’ Compensation Self-Insurance programs, regulatory reforms, operational improvements, and system enhancements. The role ensures business impacts are identified, understood and managed, enabling successful implementation of change while maintaining regulatory compliance, operational effectiveness, and positive customer outcomes.

Working closely with business, technology, operational and client stakeholders, the Change & Impact Lead translates complex legislative, process and system changes into practical business impacts and drives sustainable adoption across the organisation.

 

The skills you’ll bring

To be successful in this role you should have:

Education:

  • A qualification or certification in a Business, Organisational Change, Human Resources, Project Management, Psychology, Communications or a related discipline

Desirable:

  • Change Management certification (Prosci, ADKAR, APMG or equivalent).
  • Project Management qualification or certification.
  • Workers’ Compensation, Insurance or Compliance-related qualifications.
  • Continuous improvement qualifications such as Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent

Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience leading change management, business transformation or operational improvement initiatives.
  • Proven experience conducting end-to-end change impact assessments and business readiness activities.
  • Experience translating complex system, operational or regulatory requirements into business outcomes and practical actions.
  • Demonstrated success leading organisational change within complex and highly regulated environments.

Skills:

  • Advanced change impact assessment and change management capability.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical, legislative and operational concepts.
