Job Description:
Industry Managing Partner – Aerospace & Defence
Build relationships. Bring industry insight. Help our clients transform.
Are you an experienced Aerospace & Defence professional who enjoys working with clients, understanding their challenges and helping them find new ways to transform through technology?
We’re looking for an Industry Managing Partner to join DXC Technology’s Consulting & Engineering Services (CES) team.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll use your Aerospace & Defence experience to build strong relationships, bring industry insight to customer conversations and help identify new business opportunities.
Working alongside our account teams, consultants and technology specialists, you’ll help connect client challenges with DXC’s capabilities across consulting, engineering, digital, data and AI, turning ideas into practical solutions that deliver real value.
What you’ll be doing
- Build strong, trusted relationships with Aerospace & Defence clients
- Bring industry knowledge, insight and credibility to client conversations
- Understand customer challenges and help identify potential solutions
- Support account and sales teams in identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Contribute to proposals, presentations and customer discussions
- Help shape solutions across consulting, engineering, digital, data and AI
- Share market insight and emerging industry trends across DXC
- Collaborate with colleagues across our UK and global Consulting & Engineering Services community
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with strong Aerospace & Defence experience who combines excellent client relationship skills with a consultative and commercially minded approach.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Strong experience working within the Aerospace & Defence sector
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- A good understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Aerospace & Defence organisations
- Experience supporting or identifying new business opportunities
- A consultative approach and the ability to understand complex customer challenges
- An understanding of digital transformation and emerging technologies, including data and AI
- Strong communication, presentation and storytelling skills
- A collaborative approach and the ability to bring people and ideas together
You don’t need to have run an Aerospace & Defence business or held an executive-level position. We’re interested in people who have developed strong industry knowledge and client relationships and are looking for an opportunity to build on that experience.
Due to the nature of the work and the customers we support, the successful candidate must be eligible to meet UK Government and contractual personnel security requirements, including the applicable residency requirements for the role, and have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Some roles may also be subject to nationality requirements where these are necessary to meet UK Government or contractual security obligations
Why DXC?
This is a great opportunity to build on your Aerospace & Defence experience while broadening your exposure to consulting, technology and transformation.
You’ll work alongside experienced account teams, consultants and technologists, getting involved in interesting client challenges and helping customers explore how new technology can make a real difference to their organisations.
You’ll have the opportunity to make an impact, develop your career and be part of a collaborative global organisation without needing to step away from the hands-on client relationships that make the role interesting.

These emails may request recipients to provide personal information or to make payments as part of their illegitimate recruiting process. DXC does not make offers of employment via social media networks and DXC never asks for any money or payments from applicants at any point in the recruitment process, nor ask a job seeker to purchase IT or other equipment on our behalf.
