Job Description:
DXC Technology is looking for a Databricks Expert.
Responsibilities:

Design and implement data pipelines using Databricks.

Work with multiple data sources, including structured and unstructured data.
-
Integrate Databricks with other tools and services (e.g., Azure, AWS, Tableau, and various databases).
-
Manage data storage and lifecycle across Databricks workspaces.
-
Diagnose and resolve issues within Databricks environments and workflows.
-
Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, processes, and workflows for internal use and compliance.
Requirement:
-
Professional experience using data analytics solutions based on Databricks.

Knowledge of at least one of the following data integration services: Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Google DataPrep

Strong foundation in data engineering concepts, proficiency in programming (especially Python, Scala..)

Good understanding of cloud platforms (like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Nice to have: Databricks certification
Location: Milan (MI) with smart working possibility

The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €38.000
Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l’industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsability, experience and skills.
