Job Description:
SAP FIORI / UI5 Development (Primary Focus)
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP FIORI (Freestyle and Standard Extensions) applications.
- Build responsive UI5 applications using SAPUI5/Fiori Design Guidelines.
- Customize and extend standard FIORI apps using Extension Projects.
- Work on OData services integration for FIORI apps.
- Perform UI/UX improvements based on business feedback.
- Handle Fiori Launchpad (FLP) configuration, catalogs, groups, and roles.
Backend ABAP Development
- Develop and enhance OData services (SEGW / RAP – optional).
- Work on ABAP RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
- Debug and optimize backend logic for FIORI applications.
- Implement performance tuning and best practices in ABAP.
GTS / E4H Exposure
- Support development activities related to SAP GTS / E4H (Embedded GTS).
- Work closely with functional teams to understand compliance and trade requirements.
- Assist in upgrade, retrofit, and adaptation of FIORI apps during GTS to E4H transition.
Primary Skills (Must Have)
- Strong experience in SAP FIORI / SAPUI5 (Freestyle + Standard Apps)
- Expertise in:
- UI5 Controls, MVC architecture
- JSON / OData Models
- Fiori Launchpad configuration
- Hands-on experience in OData Service development (SEGW)
Secondary Skills
- Strong ABAP development experience (minimum 6–8 years)
- Experience with:
- Enhancements (BADI, User Exits)
- ALV Reports, Smart Forms / Adobe Forms
- Performance tuning and debugging
